Open Gardens Day 2025 - Raises over £5,5000

Wimborne in Bloom Open Gardens Day on Sunday 29th June has been deemed another success story. 20 Gardens in and around the Town of Wimborne Minster were open from 11.00am until 5.00pm. Visitors paid £8.00 at the first garden visited which then covered the visit to all the gardens. Teas were available at five of the gardens.

John Allen, Wimborne in Bloom Committee Member who Co-ordinated the day said, "There were over 450 visitors and it was a warm and sunny day. Although the final figures are yet to be confirmed over £5,500 was raised for Wimborne in Bloom Funds all of which will go towards the provision of Plants for the Flower Towers, Planters and Hanging Baskets around the centre of Town and the watering thereof until the end of summer."

John also reiterated "the grateful thanks of Wimborne in Bloom to Christopher Batten Estates Agents for their continued support of the event and to all the many garden openers who gave up many many hours of their time in preparation for the event and then again whilst opening on the day."
