At a cheque presentation this week £407 was handed over to Wimborne in Bloom, a share of the proceeds from the Waitrose Community Matters Scheme, the 'green discs' for the month of July in the Wimborne Store. Each month sees £1,000 being shared by three local charities and Wimborne in Bloom was delighted to have been nominated by Waitrose to receive a share of the July proceeds, the month in which the Town was judged in both the Regional and National in Bloom Competitions.

The cheque was presented by Steph Roberts, Community Matters Champion, and Kaz Atkinson, a Waitrose Partner and was received by Richard Nunn, Chairman of Wimborne in Bloom and Anthony Oliver, Wimborne in Bloom’s Press Officer. On receiving the cheque they thanked all who had supported Wimborne in Bloom and Waitrose for their ongoing support of 'In Bloom'.
