2016 Annual Spring Coffee Morning

The Wimborne in Bloom Annual Spring Coffee Morning was held at the home of Anthony and Christine Oliver on Saturday (14th May). It was a bright sunny morning but slightly on the cool side. A number of other events on at the same time probably accounted for a smaller attendance but still over £350 was raised towards this years 'In Bloom' Campaign.

The newly elected Town Mayor Cllr Mrs Sue Cook attended what was her third engagement of the morning and very kindly drew the raffle. She was accompanied by her Escort Cllr Robin Cook. The new Deputy Mayor Cllr Terry Wheeler was present in his capacity as the Wimborne in Bloom Honorary Treasurer and was accompanied by his wife Pauline. Grateful thanks were expressed to all those who donated prizes for the raffle and items for the bring and buy and also to all those who helped at the event.
